The Gunner’s Gear Ordering Terms and Conditions!

Hi.
We are back online and accepting orders.
But before ordering, please read the following terms and conditions. After a recent debacle, we have had to modify
our business practices somewhat.
It’s unfortunate, but evidentially some things have to be spelled
out. Please keep in mind, this is not
her day job, she picks up the sewing orders when she gets home from the
hospital that is her day job.
1. We currently do not have
“stock” bags or wallets on the shelf. When an order is placed, she makes it in the
order she received it.
2. When we receive an order, we will try to
give you our best guess on delivery if it looks to be outside of our 3-4 week
normal delivery. The following policies
can over-ride that though.
a. We will do everything we can to make a
deadline, especially for a deploying service person.
b. Which, if an active duty serviceman
preparing to deploy places an order, it goes to the top and we do it
first.
c. If an entire squad places an order, it goes
to the top and we do it first. Therefore
we cannot make promises for match dates, we’ll try, but no
guarantees.
d. This policy and her other job sometimes
requiring extra time can shove things backwards. This means it may take you 6 weeks to get a
bag or wallet order. It is not typical
and we try to get them done and out in a couple of weeks. But we have had supplier and time issues all
at once. If that is a problem, please do
not order. We would rather not take your
order than have you upset.
e. If we know there is a problem, we will do
our best to let you know about it.
3. If you cancel an order more than a couple
of days after we have received it, there will be a 15% materials fee if your
order has been cut. Janice will precut
the orders periodically so they’re ready to sew when she gets to
them. If she has already cut the pieces,
that fee will be applied.
4. We do require a completely filled in Order
Form. Yes, one of ours. An actual order form and not just the
information in an email. Your order will
not be shipped until we have that either via an email attachment, or a hard
copy via snail mail. Your order will be
made exactly as per that order form.
5. As we do require that order form, we do not
accept orders over the phone. If we need
to clarify something we will call you to clear it up, but with our schedules
and work loads, we just simply do not have time to deal with phone calls.
6. International orders will still be accepted
(subject to change at anytime per our
discretion), but you will have to pay for Express International shipping and insurance via traceable means. We have had extremely bad luck with a couple
of International orders, and will no longer assume any replacement risk for a
non-traceable or non-insured order.
Bottom line, if we can’t track it through customs, we will not
ship it to that country.
